Camieo nail paints have been around for a long time. But the brand was always available at those mullet-purpose shops at INR 5 bucks a piece! Recently I was at my local market looking for the perfect fluorescent nail paint and there was only the option if this gorgeous pink in Camieo. I was skeptical but the shopkeeper told me that Camieo now has a whole makeup range and the nail paint is a quality product. I really liked the colour so I picked it up.
Claims: Camieo Speed Dry Nail Enamel is a speed drying one. Beside that I could not find anything on the bottle. The nail paint has no number or nail colour name! Forget the ingredient list!
Packaging: The bottle is diamond shaped with the brand name and cheap quality print. The cap is the same as the colour of the nail polish that I really liked. It will be easy to locate in my collection.
Price: The price came as a shock to me. It is priced at INR 150! And the price is not mentioned anywhere on the bottle too.
Pros: Though I was skeptical but the Camieo Speed Dry Nail Enamel in pink is a great buy as:
• Amazing colour pay off. You need two coats and you get the perfect pink.
• The nail paint really lives up to the speed dry claim as it dries in 20 seconds.
• The staying power is good, it’s been almost 4 days and the nail polish has not chipped.
• The application brush is made of quality bristles. The bristles are flat and flat which means the application is easy.
Cons: The Camieo Speed Dry Nail Enamel does have some issues too:
• The nail polish smells horribly of strong chemical, way more than your normal ones.
• Due to its bright single coat can look highly uneven.
• No mention of any ingredients on the bottle.
Rating: 3/5. While I love the colour, the price and the lack of information are major downers.
