I like to experiment with different kohls and as I have used blue and green eye pencil of Chambor so I thought of giving its black eye pencil a try. Though it’s an eye pencil but it can be used as a kohl too( as suggested by the sales girl at the counter). While she persuaded me to buy the new skin care range, I asked her for some sample and luckily I got them too including a whitening toner and gel mask. I have been using the pencil ever since and here is my experience.
Claims: The products claims to be non – comodogenic and dermatologist & ophthalmologist tested.
Packaging: It comes in a nice black plastic covering which is one way retractable.
Price: It is priced at INR 545 for 0.28 gm.
Pros: I would re-purchase this product because
• It’s easy to apply.
• It sets into a waterproof and smudge proof finish within a few seconds of application.
• It can be used both as a kohl and eyeliner(though it’s mentioned not be used inside the eye) but since I have been using it so didn’t find problem in it.
• Glides easily on oily eyelids too and stays for 7 to 8 hours
• It is a waterproof black eyeliner.
• The packaging is very travel friendly.
• It is dermatologically tested.
• It is revolving so no wastage due to sharpening.
• The entire list of ingredients is mentioned.
• It gives a matte look.
• It is easily available.
Cons: The problem is that it’s non-retractable so you never know how much of the pencil is left and secondly you cannot twist the extra back in.
It is little expensive as compared to other brands.
Rating: I would give it 4/5 as it’s worth a buy but be careful while twisting the pencil.
