For a long time, I have been using Lakme CC cream, so I thought why not review this amazing product! These days CC and BB creams have taken the place of fairness creams. It is mainly because of three benefits, sun protection, foundation-like effect, and moisturization. The Lakme CC cream is a combination of the goodness of daily skin cream with makeup to give you a great blend. Lakme is a makeup brand that almost every woman has used or is using. Applying foundation daily isn’t a great thing so CC cream is the perfect replacement for it. The company claims that it conceals and evens the skin tone instantly. This cream acts like a fairness cream and gives a makeup like finish to your skin. Check out my take on it below:
Shades:
It comes in four shades: Beige, Honey, Bronze and Almond shade. I use the shade 03-Bronze.
Packaging:
It comes in a travel-friendly, light golden plastic tube with same color cap housed in a pink cardboard box. The tube is very lightweight.
My experience:
In busy schedules when I am running short of time I use CC cream instead of foundation before heading out. Lakme CC cream is doing a great job for my skin tone, as I am quite fair, I use the shade Bronze. The product has a very mild fragrance, it moisturizes your skin. It has a creamy texture that spread easily and feels very light on the skin. It gives an average coverage to dark spots. The best part is it is rated SPF 30++ so you don’t have to worry about using additional sunscreen as it already has SPF. It gives a non-oily and non-greasy finish.
Overall it gives a strong coverage, a little amount of the product is enough to cover the face and neck. It gives a matte and dewy finish. It easily gets absorbed and doesn’t need much effort to blend it. The staying power of the 9 to 5 cream is also good.
How to apply:
- Take a little amount of the product in your palm
- Make tiny dots of it all over your face
- Blend it, use a makeup blender to dab it on your face or you can rub it with your fingers as well.
- Use everyday

This Complexion care cream is priced at INR 325 for the 30gm pack. And a smaller pack of 9gm is available for INR 99. You can get online or from stores as well.
