After getting the NYX Shocking Pink, I wanted to pick a matte orange and when I saw Indie Flick I was apprehensive of the brightness the orange had but I tried the tester on. I thought I would buy it before leaving the mall if I felt it suits me, and when I walked out in sunlight it was love at first sight! I rushed back to buy it and they were out of stock! I went twice afterwards and finally I got Indie Flick! Here’s my review of the NYX Matte Lipstick Indie Flick:
Claims: NYX Matte Lipsticks are highly pigmented, richly formulated and long-wearing. The formula glides on smoothly and stays put in a matte finish. From Pure Red to Nude, Matte Lipsticks are available in a variety of rich shades.
Packaging: The lipstick is packaged in a beautiful plastic black and transparent tube. You can see the colour in the middle.
Price: I got mine for 530 INR from Sephora.
Pros: The NYX Matte Lipstick Indie Flick is a different take on orange, their website describes the shade as bright coral red but to me its a bit of fanta orange (with coral undertones).
• It is a unique colour, it looks reddish orange to bright orange depending on the lights.
• Suits Indian skin tones.
• Doesn’t bleed or get stuck in fine lines on the lips.
• The matte doesn’t dry my lips. It is easy to apply.
• it stays for 3-4 hours.
• It is value for money and I really like the texture of NYX Matte Lipstick Indie Flick.
Cons: None, except availability is a big issue. I would have never gone these many times if I could buy it online but in India it was not available online too!
