The theme for the Vellvette May Box was organic products. My box came filled and heavy with five products last week! Lucky me!
How it works: You get a Vellvette Box about the third week of a month after you place your order. I ordered for a three-month cash on delivery membership last month and was waiting for the first on eagerly. While ordering you are supposed to fill an extensive questionnaire about your skin type, love for makeup etc. This helps Vellvette customise the box especially for you.

Packing: The box was a cute black box with a gold ribbon on top. On opening, there was a personal letter detailing that this box has organic products. Underneath a white packaging were my Vellvete May products.
Products received: I received a Brocato Curlinterrupted smoothing & hydrating kit which includes a shampoo and a conditioner, a full size Flormar lipstick, Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus foundation and my prize a 9 ml Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Serum.
Brocato Curlinterrupted Smoothing & Hydrating Kit might work well on damaged hair but my hair are one of those no volume, straight, shiny types. The shampoo was refreshing but the conditioner was a tad too heavy for my hair but I have kept it in my travel bag as my hair usually get dry, damaged whenever I travel.
Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Serum is a high end serum to brighten the skin and treat dark spots. The product seems nice, miraculous even, but I believe this product will take time and I will review it once I see the results.
Clinique Repair Laser Focus is packed in a card, it has 4 sample size foundations packed inside. They got my skin colour right and the Clinique Repair Laser Focus is a smooth foundation. One sachet can be used twice, depending on how much coverage you need.
Flormar Delux Shine Gloss Lipstick I got the D 34 shade. Initially when I saw the bold red I was vary of using it in the day but when I tried the Flormar Delux Shine Gloss Lipstick, it reminded me of the Revlon Lip Butter, in texture, shade and colour pay off. But the Flormar Delux Shine Gloss Lipstick was a surprise as it does not look blood red. It is a beautiful red that adds a very sheer natural hint of red to the lips, which looks great. The staying power is nothing too great but the way it makes my lips is amazing.
Pros: The box has a perfect blend of products. My prize has me super excited. One thing I have discovered is that even of your Vellvette products do not work for you can keep them in your handbag or travel bad, they will surely help you! Also the full size lipstick is the perfect colour for these summers. There are discount coupons too in case you buy anything from Vellvette’s site. The box arrived on time in fact earlier than I expected, keep up the god work Vellvette!
Cons: None, except the conditioner was really heavy.
