We told you Aishwarya has extended her Cannes stay to attend the amfAR gala this year. This year the amfAR gala has a special tribute to Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor. The tribute will feature a gold themed fashion show.
We told you that Aishwarya will wear a golden Tarun Tahiliani to the amfAR gala. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan post her appearances at the Cannes red carpet attended the amfAR gala in a ornate gold saree.
Well we don’t mind the saree because the theme was golden, what we did not like was the heaviness the whole look added. Aishwarya should have skipped the same gold hued blouse or the gold clutch or maybe both! While her makeup was immaculately perfect, the hair seemed a tad too severe.
Browine points to Aishwarya for her nail art (see inset image) it was a dark blue nailpaint with a gold foil nail art. The earrings had us lusting, for they were exquisite gold ones.
