The first trailer of Heroine is out. The movie seems interesting and deep. Bebo looks scintillating. Halkat Jawani is the first song to be released and Kareena looks amazing with washboard flat abs (people stop obsessing on her weight gain!) But here is how to get the glittery Indian look, not the abs!
Sari: Take a sari with a border. When tying it, pleat the pallu border to border. It should look like the paper fan you made as a kid. Secure the fan shaped pallu with 3 pins one at the bas where it starts and one on your shoulder. Place one in middle to keep those pleats gathered.
Blouse: Buy an itsy-bitsy backless number. A contrast blouse adds structure to the look over a sleeveless one.Kareena’s has sheer sleeves for drama.
Hair: Put some mousse or gel in wet hair and tie them in braids. Let it dry or use a hair dryer for quicker results. Open the braids, scrunch and fix them with hairspray,
Makeup: Put a black bindi, bronzer and grey eye shadow. Top the look with a nude or sheer gloss.
Body: Apply some bronzner on your tummy and arms for a sculpted look.
Accessories: Kareena has no accessories, except dozens of metallic bangles in a contrast colour. Pick a completely different colour for impact.
PS: If you cannot carry the pleated pallu, put it as a regular one. Just pick a sheer or net sari for maximum impact and get ready to rock the look!
