The best saris showcased on India couture week 2019:
Indian Couture Week was on a few days back and it is incomplete without the presence of traditional six yards. This year we saw a mix of beautiful, handcrafted saris from the country’s most famous designers. The couturiers modified the sari giving it a contemporary touch to fit the modern bride’s tastes. Sari gowns, sheer saris, and hot blouses.
Amit Aggarwal presented a bold emerald green sari gown with thigh-high silt and risqué blouse.
Pankaj and Nidhi come up with a pale pink sari-gown hybrid. Whereas Gaurav Gupta’s shimmery black number styled with an off-shoulder blouse was also a win-win.
Rahul Mishra surprised people with a menswear-inspired sari, the ivory drape with a tailored blazer in place of the blouse.
Suneet Varma, Reynu Taandon, Falguni Shane Peacock and Shyamal & Bhumika traditionally showcased sari.
This year had a wonderful collection of saris, we love them.
