The Movember movement started in 2004 in Adelaide, South Australia by a group of young men. It began as a month long event where men would grow their beard for charity. First it became and annual movement in Australia and then slowly it got the global platform.
It starts on the 1st of November where men shave all their facial hair and do not touch a raiser till the 30th of November. Growing a moustache can be an itchy process, but it ultimately dies out. For a good growth facial hair requires grooming. The next step involves spreading awareness. That can be done by social media, word of mouth or other platforms. Then on the 1st of December, it all comes to an end. Men shave it all.
Movember has gained a huge amount of popularity in the past years. The Global Journal listed it as world’s top 100 NGOs. It is a movement to save our fathers, brothers, friends and partners. So join in the movement this November and save the ones you love.
