Duchess Kate Middleton has been hospitalised 12 weeks into pregnancy for an illness called Hyperemesis Gravidarium or extreme morning sickness. The duchess was hospitalised due to dehydration and constant vomiting.
In a statement on Monday, the same was confirmed. But what is Hyperemesis Gravidarum?
It is a condition wherein no fluid or food is digested by the body, due to constant vomiting. Though this is a potentially dangerous condition for the unborn baby, it is treatable. One in 5 women get this disorder and many times it is also seen that such women have more than one baby. So, should we expect royal twins soon?
