We all know that dengue fever is a disease caused by a family of viruses that are transmitted by mosquitoes and the acute phase of the illness with fever lasts about one to two weeks. Symptoms of Dengue
- High fever and chills are the most common symptoms.
- Body ache and continuous pain in legs, joints and head. It moves to eyes too.
- The patients suffer nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite
- Children may experience severe back pain as well.
- Minor bleeding is also seen in some cases.
Do’s and don’t
- The first and foremost thing is to keep the house and surroundings clean.
- Clean the damp places in the house regularly.
- As soon as you notice symptoms consult a doctor and do not try to self-medicate.
- Change the water in flower pots regularly.
- Avoid stagnant water around the house and the surrounding areas.
- Cover water tanks and clean them at regular intervals.
- Take healthy food in your diet to develop a strong immune system.
