As unlocking has begun in different parts of the country, gyms are now open. And if you are waiting to hit the gym you must call then ask how many people are allowed at the same time. There are a lot of concerns about how gym and fitness studios can reopen without spreading the novel coronavirus. Going to the gym is quite risky, but if you have decided to go to the gym, then here are some safety tips for you. Follow these tips to ensure a safe workout at the gym:
- Reach the gym as soon as it opens, get in, and complete your workout as soon as possible. This is because when gyms open up there will be no or very few people and people will start coming in later in the day.
- Try to maintain social distancing. Even if someone comes near you ask them to maintain a proper distance.
- Never remove your mask, wear it during the workout as well
- Carry a sanitizing spray bottle and sanitize the benches and machines that you use
- Wear disposable gloves when going to the gym, use them during the workout. Throw them after use and sanitize your hands.
- After reaching back home, throw your gym clothes directly into the laundry bag, and wash them.
- Take a bath immediately after going back home
- Remember not to touch your face while working out, not to wipe your sweat as well.
- Clean your shoes as well
- You can also invest in some gym equipment like dumbbells, resistance bands, and machines, to have your own gym at home.
