Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, who was last seen in Houseful, has committed suicide in her flat in Juhu late Monday night by hanging herself. Reports say Jiah Khan was suffering from depression.
The cause of her death has not been confirmed but preliminary reports suggest suicide. No suicide note was not found so the reason is unclear.
Jiah had a controversial debut opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Verma’s Nishabd a movie which showcases her relationship with an older man back in 2007. She has also acted with Aamir Khan in Ghajini and Akshay Kumar in Housefull. Jiah was born and brought up in England and she had shifted base to Mumbai to act in Hindi films.
Her co-stars and friends are shocked, Bollywood reacted on twitter and all of them are saddened by this sudden demise:
