The condition of pollution in Delhi/NCR reaches to severe plus category:
In spite of making many efforts Delhi has mostly been in the list of most polluted cities and this time too, the condition has reached the severe plus category. This year’s Diwali has brought serious harmful effects to the people in Delhi as well as NCR because of the bad air quality.
Recently seeing this sensitive issue Netizens took it to twitter and shared pictures of the city with #DelhiBachao. Many showcased their anger by writing comments like “This is Noida. It’s totally under the smog. You wake up in the morning and can literally feel it. Govt has to do something. You can’t leave your citizens to die like this. I can only imagine how asthma or ppl with the respiratory problem must be feeling,”.

Following the deteriorating air quality, a Supreme Court-mandated panel on Friday declared a public health emergency in Delhi. Moreover, the Delhi government also decided to shut all schools until November 5. However, as the situation continues to worsen, Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal has urged Centre to take immediate measures.
