In a shocking incident a girl’s mother was killed over quarrel between neighbors over a girl wearing jeans in Aligarh.
It all started after Phoolmati, a neighbour of Netrapal Dubey, made a sarcastic remark at his 20-year-old graduate daughter Gunjan, for wearing jeans. When the Dubeys objected, Phoolmati said her comments were directed at youth in general. Gunjan reacted to her remarks, telling Phoolmati to mind her own business.
The angry Phoolmati along with several men armed with sticks and guns stormed into Dubeys’ house and attacked the couple and their four daughters.
In the attack Gunjan’s mother died on the spot because of several injuries on her head. The body of the lady is sent for post mortem to establish the exact cause of death.
