A Hyderabad based jeweler made a ring with 7,801 diamond gems and established a record.
A ring was made with 7,801 gems of diamond in a flower shape and now it holds the record for the most number of diamonds in a ring. It was made by a Hyderabad based jeweler Kotti Srikanth and the ring was named ‘The Divine – 7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam’
The inspiration for the name comes from a rare flower in Himalaya which is known as Brahma Kamalam. “The flowers signify the essence of purity,” said the jewelry maker in an interview.

The ring was in the making since September 2018 and the design was finalized through computer-aided design (CAD) and it was shared how many diamonds would be needed to complete the ring. It has 6 layers of flower petals in total and the first five layers have eight petals each.
