Govinda was rushed to the hospital after accidentally injuring himself in a gun misfire while heading to the airport early morning
Bollywood star and Shiv Sena leader Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg early this morning when his licensed revolver misfired. The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. at Govinda’s Juhu residence in Mumbai, just as the actor prepared to leave for a morning flight to Kolkata.
According to reports, the actor was getting ready for a flight scheduled at 6 a.m. for a show in Kolkata. His manager, who had already reached the airport, shared that Govinda was about to leave home when the mishap occurred. “The revolver apparently fell while being placed in the cupboard, and it misfired. Thankfully, it only caused a leg injury,” his manager explained.
The actor was immediately rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai, where he is being treated. Thankfully, his condition is stable, and there’s no cause for major concern. The police have already seized the gun and are currently investigating the incident however, Govinda has not filed any complaint, as confirmed by the police.
