Check out reactions of Indian people as ISRO’s launched its moon mission:
Finally on Monday at 2.43 pm India created history by launching Chandrayaan 2, its first lander mission to the moon from Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota. The mission is expected to see the soft landing of the spacecraft on the moon’s surface on 7th September.
After an unsuccessful attempt last week, when the scientists had to call off the launch of the mission less than an hour before the lift due to a technical glitch, today the launch took place. They successfully sent massive 640-tonne GSLV Mk-III rocket carried the 3850-kg Chandrayaan-2 module into space. Nearly 5,000 people watched the launch through a viewing gallery. After the launch wishes and appreciation poured in for ISRO.
Check out how people reacted below:

Indian at heart, Indian in spirit!
What would make every Indian overjoyed is the fact that #Chandrayaan2 is a fully indigenous mission.
It will have an Orbiter for remote sensing the Moon and also a Lander-Rover module for analysis of lunar surface.
