Why the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 is our true love!
I love travelling and luckily my husband too, so after marriage we have been to many places both in India and abroad. We try to go for a vacation once in three months to take a break from our busy schedule and spend some quality time with each other and now with our baby too.
Since I love travelling so after I saw Ranbir Kapoor’s travel album in Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani , I also made one and and took out our vacation picture from my laptop to take a print out and put it in my album.
After few vacations I forgot to do so and recently when I was planning for my USA vacation I took out my album and realized that many of my pictures are still pending. That’s when I decided to pick a Intax camera so that I can keep my travel album updated and capture some instant good moments with my loved ones.
Now that I am back from my trip and I have used the camera for some 15 days , here is my review about Instax Mini 70
Price: It is priced at INR 8,495 and is easily available online on all e-commerce websites.
Colour: It is available in Moon White, Canary Yellow and Island Blue.
Mode: This is a very simple and fuss free camera with few modes only:
- Selfie mode: It automatically adjusts camera settings for optimized portraits.
- Self Timer Mode: The self-timer mode allows you to set a timer, and then the camera will automatically begin shooting. The self-timer can be set for 2 or 10 seconds.
- Macro mode: The capture close up view.
- Landscape mode: To capture a scene and not a single subject.
- Hi-key mode: To capture bright beautiful skin tones.
Image size: The film size is 86mm x 54mm but the picture size is smaller 62mm x 46mm.
Film Developing Time: It takes approximately 90 seconds for the film to get developed.
Flash: It has an automatic electronic flash.
Number of films per pack: You can put of pack of 10 films at one go which is quite easy to do.
Should you buy it or not?
It’s not something which you should really invest in but if you like keeping a hard copy of your precious moments then this is a must buy. Also I feel this a perfect gift for someone who loves clicking pictures or is fond of photography as this will add to its collection.
Is it expensive?
I believe that gifts and and emotions attached with pictures are priceless.

No fuss camera which makes it easy to use.
Instant pictures which are great for scrabooking.
You can know the number of films left.
Pretty looking and not very bulky too.
Helps maintains privacy as no evidence remains that an image ever existed following printing.
Perfect to capture candid shots and gift them as a memory.
Cons of Intax mini 70
Picture size is small.
No preview of the picture before printing so you might waste a considerable amount of film.
Films are expensive
Overexposure is an issue when shooting in daylight ‘automatic’ shooting mode.
Rating: I would rate it 4.5/5 and would surely carry it on all my vacations.
