Music: the music of the film needs no introduction. Bhansali himself has composed the music and all songs are beautifully shot that you enjoy them. Deepika’s dance performances in most of the songs are breathtaking. Priyanka Chopra’s item song ‘Ram Chahe Leela’ is undoubtedly the highlight of the song. The song ‘Lalhu Muh Lag Gaya’ sung by Shail Hada is very colourful with an intense passion filled. A beautiful display of violin and piano present a perfect start to the intense, passionate call for love , ”Ang Laga De” sung by Aditi Paul. The ‘garba‘ dance number with a heavy folk base is grand and opulent. Monty Sharma’s background score plays a very important role in creating the much needed drama.
Story: The film is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and the movie opens with a gun battle between some trigger happy people. The story revolves around Deepika and Ranveer who belong to different clans Rajadi and Sanada and their clans have been at war for 500 years.
