Winters, harsh cold air and heated offices can make the skin dull and dry. Often the sudden change in temperature requires us to change our skincare routine and products. Here are 5 things for a glowy and soft skin this winter:
Change your face wash: Buy a cream based face wash In summers gel based cleansers strip the skin of excessive oils but in winters these face wash can lead to dry skin.
Buy a heavier day and night cream: Switch to a heavier cream for added protection, but insure you use a sunscreen in the daytime. As winter sun can damage the skin more than the sun rays in summer. A cream based sunscreen with at least 20 SPF is good.
Buy a creamy exfoliator: Exfoliation insures that dry, flakey skin goes off. Dry skin often gets accumulated and leads to flakes. Exfoliate regularly with a cream based gentle exfoliator. Remember to use it softly as over scrubbing can also lead to dryness.
Use a lip balm regularly: Chapped, dry lips are common in winters. Always use a lip balm after regular intervals. Buy a lipbalm which has SPF.
Drink water: During winters we all tend to decrease our water drinking. Hyderation is the key to beautiful skin.
